Neal Francis

Neal Francis is an American singer, songwriter, and musician based in Chicago. He began playing professionally as a teenager and quickly gained recognition touring with Muddy Waters’ son and other blues artists. In 2012, he joined the popular funk band The Heard, leading them to become a national act. Despite their success, Francis left the band in 2015 to pursue his solo career. In 2019, he released his first solo album and followed it up with a second in 2021.

Born Neal Francis O’Hara on September 4, 1988 in Livingston, New Jersey, he is known for his skills as a pianist and keyboard player.

Throughout his career, Francis has performed at notable events such as the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Fest and Bear Creek. His music combines elements of blues, funk, and soul to create a unique sound that resonates with audiences worldwide.
