New Musik

British New Wave pop/rock group from South London, active from 1977 to 1982. New Musik was known for their innovative sound and catchy melodies, combining elements of synth-pop with rock influences. Their music was characterized by the use of synthesizers, drum machines, and distinctive vocals.

Influenced by the likes of Ultravox and The Human League, New Musik carved out their own unique sound in the early 80s. With hits such as "Living By Numbers" and "This World of Water," they gained a dedicated following and achieved success both in the UK and internationally.

Often compared to bands like Blancmange, Heaven 17, and China Crisis, New Musik left a lasting impact on the New Wave genre. Despite disbanding after only five years together, their music continues to be celebrated by fans old and new.
