UK producer and musician Photek, born in 1972 in St Albans, England, has been a prominent figure on the UK jungle scene since the early nineties. Known for his role in developing the "intelligent" drum & bass genre, Photek's sound is characterized by individuality, innovation, and accessibility. His incredibly detailed drum programming combined with abstract sounds and influences from jazz and classic techno create a unique sonic experience.

In recent years, Photek has ventured into film scoring, working on various projects for upcoming features from his new home base in Los Angeles.
