Quantec

Quantec, also known as Sven Schienhammer, is an electronic music producer and remixer who has been creating music since 1995. Starting with hardware tools like Rolands MC 505 and a 303 with some effects tools, Quantec now uses a combination of hardware and software in his studio. He has a love for oldschool synths from the 70's & 80's, which gives his music a lo-fi feeling.

Quantec's sound can be described as digitized thoughts and emotions. His personal favorite styles include detroit and dubby electronics, deep house, dub, roots reggae, drones, ambient, and experimental music. In addition to releasing music under the name Quantec, he also produces music as Monoaxial and Sven Schienhammer.
