Shaun Cassidy

Shaun Cassidy is an American singer, actor, and TV producer. Born on September 27, 1958 in Los Angeles, California, he is the eldest son of actor Jack Cassidy and actress Shirley Jones. Inspired by the success of his half-brother David Cassidy from TV's "The Partridge Family," Shaun released several successful singles in the late 1970s. His cover version of "Da Do Ron Ron" reached #1 in the USA in 1977, making him a major teen idol like his brother. He achieved further success with top ten singles like "That's Rock 'N' Roll" and "Hey Deanie." In addition to his music career, Shaun starred in the popular television series "Hardy Boys" alongside Parker Stevenson. He also made his Broadway debut in 1993 and has worked as a TV producer on shows such as "Cold Case" and "Invasion." Shaun has been married three times and has five children.
