Skeletal Family

Skeletal Family is a post-punk/gothic rock band hailing from West Yorkshire, England. Originally active from 1982 until 1986, they took a hiatus before reforming in 2002. With their unique blend of haunting melodies and dark lyrics, Skeletal Family quickly gained a devoted following in the goth scene.

Influenced by bands such as Mephisto Walz, Specimen, and Sex Gang Children, Skeletal Family carved out their own niche within the genre. Their music often featured atmospheric guitar riffs, driving basslines, and the distinctive vocals of lead singer *Anne-Marie Hurst*. Songs like "Promised Land" and "She Cries Alone" showcased their ability to create moody and captivating soundscapes.
