Skullflower

Skullflower is an improvisational noise rock band that formed in London in 1987. Led by guitarist Matthew Bower and drummer Stuart Dennison, the group released their debut self-titled EP on Broken Flag in 1988. Throughout the following decade, Skullflower continued to release a series of noise/psychedelic rock albums, with Bower and Dennison being the only consistent members during this period.

In 1996, after the release of their album [r=195320], Skullflower went on hiatus. However, they made a comeback in 2003 with the release of [r=582250]. Since then, Skullflower has operated as both a solo project for Matthew Bower and as a collaborative effort with other musicians such as Samantha Davies and Lee Stokoe.

If you enjoy bands like Judas Priest, Anthrax, or Black Sabbath, you'll appreciate Skullflower's unique blend of noise and psychedelic rock. With their distinctive sound and experimental approach to music-making, Skullflower continues to captivate audiences worldwide.
