Sonic's Rendezvous Band

Sonic's Rendezvous Band was a rock "super group" from Ann Arbor that existed from 1974 to 1980. The band members, including Fred Sonic Smith, Gary Rasmussen, Ron Cooke, Scott "Rock Action" Asheton, and Scott Morgan, were formerly part of legendary Detroit rock bands like MC5, The Stooges, and [a248550]. With just one single released during their lifetime, they gained recognition for their powerful rock sound. Their music continues to inspire fans today.
