Supersister

Dutch progressive rockband, Supersister, was active from approximately 1970-1974. After a series of unfortunate events, including the deaths of two band members, the group disbanded. However, in 2018, Robert Jan Stips gathered old musical friends to create new music in the style of Supersister. They released an album called "Retsis Repus" in 2019 and performed three memorable gigs with all the musicians involved. The band continued as a four-piece lineup for a club tour in October that year. In 2021, they reincarnated again as a three-piece for a tour that unfortunately got cancelled due to pandemic restrictions.

Supersister's music is often categorized alongside artists such as Girl Thing, Scooch, and Lisa Scott-Lee. Their unique blend of progressive rock sets them apart from their peers.

Despite facing setbacks throughout their career, Supersister has proven their resilience and dedication to creating innovative music. Fans can look forward to future projects and performances from this legendary Dutch band.
