The Highmarts

The Highmarts (ザ・ハイマーツ) is a Tokyo-based band formed in 2013 by three young girls who are carrying on the legacy of Japanese garage rock. Drawing inspiration from the '60s ‘Group Sounds’ and '70s punk, their music blends nostalgic melodies with raw energy.

Lead guitarist and vocalist Suzu, bassist Haruna, and drummer Karin make up The Highmarts. Together, they create a unique sound that captures the essence of Japan's vibrant music scene.
