Invada Records was formed in 2002 by Geoff Barrow, Ashley Anderson, and Redg Weeks. Geoff and Ashley have been collaborating since 1998 and decided to establish the label together. In 2003, Geoff started Invada Records UK, focusing on developing a roster of artists from the UK that would also be released in Australia. As the label continues to grow, Invada is expanding its distribution network worldwide.

Salisbury and Barrow scored Garland’s previous work, Ex Machina, Annihilation and Devs. They are also known for their work with Ben Wheatley, Archive 81, Black Mirror and HANNA soundtracks, as well as their electronic record Drokk: Music Inspired By Mega-City One.
