Coalesce is a hardcore/metalcore band hailing from Kansas City, USA. Originally known as Breach, the band underwent a name change in late 1994 after two recording sessions. One of these sessions, titled "Child Obscurity," remains unreleased due to quality concerns.

Inspired by bands such as Burnt By The Sun, Drowningman, and Candiria, Coalesce has carved out their own unique sound within the genre. Their music combines elements of hardcore and metalcore to create a powerful and intense sonic experience.

With influences ranging from Converge to Cave In, Coalesce's discography showcases their ability to blend aggression with technicality. Fans of bands like Deadguy and Botch will find themselves drawn to Coalesce's raw energy and relentless approach.

Welcome to Relapse, an American metal, hardcore/punk and experimental label founded by Matthew F. Jacobson.
