Dead Or Alive is a British band that was formed in 1980 in Liverpool, Merseyside. They gained international fame with their hit song "You Spin Me Round (Like a Record)" and had a massive following in Japan. The band went through several lineup changes over the years, with Pete Burns as the lead vocalist from 1980 until his passing in 2016. Other notable members include Steve Coy on drums, Timothy Lever on keyboards, Michael Percy and Sue James on bass, Joe Musker on drums, Ming and Wayne Hussey on guitar, Martin Healy on keyboards, Adrian Mitchell on guitar, and Jason Alburey on keyboards.
With their catchy tunes and energetic performances, Dead Or Alive captivated audiences worldwide. Their unique sound combined elements of new wave, synth-pop, and dance music. They left an indelible mark on the music industry during their active years from 1980 to 2003.

Dead Or Alive

Demon is a UK 80s New Wave label that was founded by Elvis Costello, Andrew Lauder, and the company behind the label in 1980. In 1998, the label was acquired by Music Collection International and merged with its Westside Records operation. Today, Demon forms part of the Demon Music Group Ltd.

30th Anniversary edition and the first time that the album has been commercially released in its original configuration on Vinyl, with the original playing durations and will be pressed on 180 Gram white colour vinyl.

Fan the Flame (Part One) is Dead Or Alive’s fifth studio album and was only released on CD in Japan in 1990, where it reached number 27, until a re-worked version was included within the Sophisticated Boom Box MMXVI box set in 2016. Fan the Flame (Part One) contains the singles Your Sweetness (Is Your Weakness) , Unhappy Birthday and Gone 2 Long. Renowned and in-demand singer, Tracy Ackerman performed all backing vocal duties, with Londonbeat and the London Community Gospel Choir appearing on Total Stranger and Unhappy Birthday, respectively. Also featured is Billy Currie, better known for his work with Ultravox, Visage and Gary Numan.
