Death is a legendary American death metal band formed in 1983. They are considered one of the pioneers of the genre and have had a significant impact on the development of extreme metal music. Record Store Day is an annual event inaugurated in 2007 to "celebrate the culture of the independently owned record store". Held on one Saturday every April and every Black Friday in November, the day brings together fans, artists, and thousands of independent record stores around the world.

Fate: The Best of Death is a compilation album by Death. It contains songs collected from their first four albums, Scream Bloody Gore (1987), Leprosy (1988), Spiritual Healing (1990) and Human (1991). This reissue has been remixed and remastered. The first issue of this compilation has been out of print since its official release in 1992. Comes on limited Royal Blue vinyl with splatter.
