<p>Cherry Red is a British label that was founded by Iain McNay in 1978. Also known as Cherry Red Records, this label has become associated with the company Music and Media Group. With the label code LC 6730, Cherry Red has made a name for itself in the music industry. It is important to note that this label should not be confused with the US label of the same name.</p>

Formed in 1975 in Manchester, England, Delegation enjoyed strong periods of success in different markets during the late 70s and early 80s. Championed by song writer and producer Ken Gold (The Real Thing, Billy Ocean, Ritz etc.) who, along with partner Mickey Denne have written multiple soul and pop hits, Delegation's classic recordings have been distilled in to a two-disc anthology collection celebrating one of the UK's greatest soul groups. Affectionately known as The Godfather of Brit-Soul by international fans, original member and lead singer Rickey Bailey continues to write, perform and tour all over the world with the Delegation band to this day.
