Description
George Fitzgerald releases his first-ever LP 'Fading Love'. A UK-born DJ and producer who now lives in Berlin, Fitzgerald's mix of bass and house music has earned him appearances on labels like Hotflush, Hypercolour and Aus Music. (He also runs his own imprint, ManMakeMusic.) More recently, he's connected with indie giant Domino and its sublabel Double Six Records, which is where 'Fading Love' is issued. 'Fading Love' establishes an exciting new chapter for the acclaimed British producer, DJ, and label head, marking an expansion out from his blistering DJ sets across Europe and the UK, and into the realm of songwriter / producer peers such as Caribou, Four Tet, and Jon Hopkins. 'Fading Love' is an intriguingly textured debut album, touching on the more emotive and tactile spectrum of electronic music, while keeping one foot firmly planted on the dance floor.
