BMG Rights Management, formerly known as Bertelsmann Music Group, is a global music conglomerate with a rich history in the industry. Originally formed in 1985 as a joint venture between Bertelsmann AG and RCA, BMG has since evolved into a powerhouse of music production and distribution.

In 1986, Bertelsmann acquired full ownership of RCA and Arista Records through the purchase of their joint venture's stock from General Electric. The following year, these labels were merged under the umbrella of Bertelsmann Music Group (BMG), solidifying its position as a major player in the music world.

In 2004, BMG joined forces with Sony Music to create Sony BMG Music Entertainment. However, in 2008, Bertelsmann sold its stake in the company, leading to the formation of BMG Rights Management. Today, BMG continues to thrive as a leading record label and distributor worldwide.

Graham Nash, OBE (born 2 February 1942, Blackpool, Lancashire, England) is an English singer-songwriter and musician. In the early 1960's he co-founded The Hollies. In 1965 Nash with Allan Clarke and Tony Hicks formed a publishing company who handled their own songs and later signed the young Elton John (aka Reginald Dwight – who played piano and organ on The Hollies 1969 and 1970 recordings). In 1968, he left The Hollies to form the folk "supergroup" Crosby, Stills & Nash. Nash became an American citizen on 14 August 1978 and holds dual citizenship of the UK and United States. Nash is a photography collector and a published photographer. Many of Nash's albums and mixes were done in his San Francisco home studio Rudy Records.

He was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as a member of Crosby, Stills &amp; Nash in 1997 and as a member of The Hollies in 2010. He was inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame in 2009. In 2016, Graham Nash was inducted into the International Photography Hall of Fame and Museum (IPHF).
