Consouling Sounds

Consouling Sounds is a label that releases music of the post rock and doom genres in small and devoted editions. They are embedded in the platform for art beyond boundaries, known as "de console".

In their early days, Consouling Sounds released limited edition CD-Rs under the "CON" line to showcase new and upcoming bands, helping them gain recognition and potentially secure a record deal. Today, the "CON" line is used for one-off releases that fall outside their main catalogue. These releases are always factory pressed but produced in very limited quantities.

The label also features well-known or established artists with new and interesting releases under their "SOUL" line. These releases are also limited, but in larger editions and factory pressed.

IVII (aka Josh Graham, visual artist, multi-instrumentalist, electro-acoustic composer) focuses on enigmatic cinematic atmospheres, exploring elements of electronica, classical, ambient, drone and vaporwave. Josh is known for his work with Neurosis, Red Sparowes, Battle of Mice and A Storm of Light.

Leaving behind the science fiction themes from his first two full length albums, Obsidian explores and reworks Josh's original score for the behind-the-scenes documentary, Mother! The Downward Spiral, which details the making of Darren Aronofsky's film, Mother!.
