Julee Cruise was an American singer and actress, born December 1, 1956, in Creston, Iowa. She was best known for her collaborations with David Lynch and Angelo Badalamenti. She recorded songs for several albums and performed as the Roadhouse singer in both seasons of the original Twin Peaks, Fire Walk With Me and the reboot.
On March 28, 2018, Cruise announced that she had systemic lupus, which caused her considerable pain and affected her ability to walk and stand. She also suffered from depression. She died from suicide on June 9, 2022, in Pittsfield, Massachusetts at the age of 65.

Floating Into The Night is the 1989 debut album by vocalist Julee Cruise featuring songs written and produced by composer Angelo Badalamenti and film director David Lynch (who wrote the lyrics). The songs "Falling" and "Rockin' Back Inside My Heart" were both featured in Lynch's cult television series, Twin Peaks.
