Kodaline is a Dublin-based Irish rock band that was originally known as 21 Demands. In 2011, the band made the decision to change its name to Kodaline.
With their unique sound and heartfelt lyrics, Kodaline has captivated audiences around the world. Their music combines elements of rock and indie pop, creating a truly distinctive style.
Since their formation, Kodaline has released several successful albums and singles, earning them a dedicated fan base. Their powerful performances and emotional storytelling have solidified their place in the music industry.

RCA is a multinational record label that has been used worldwide and is currently owned by Sony Music Entertainment. The name RCA originally referred to the Radio Corporation of America, a US electronic and communications company formed in 1919. In 1929, RCA acquired the Victor Talking Machine Co., which had released records on the Victor and Victrola labels. The record division became known as RCA Victor until late 1968 when it became RCA Records.

In 1985, RCA Records became part of RCA/Ariola International. At the end of that year, General Electric purchased the RCA Corporation. In 1986, GE sold the remainder of RCA Records to Bertelsmann (Ariola's owner) and formed the Bertelsmann Music Group (BMG). Since then, RCA Records has switched owners twice and is currently owned by Sony Music Entertainment.

On September 26, 2011, Sony Music Entertainment reorganized the RCA Records group into its own label banner. This merger brought artists from Jive, Arista, LaFace, and J Records under the umbrella of RCA. Additionally, reissues from these imprints will be handled by RCA as well.

Dublin, Ireland-based modern rock quartet Kodaline specialize in soaring, radio-ready guitar rock that's drawn comparisons to Coldplay, Keane, U2, and Oasis. The Politics of Living is their third album. Politics of Living sees Kodaline team up with some of the hottest production and writing talent imaginable including hitmaker supreme Steve Mac (Shape Of You by Ed Sheeran), pop guru Johnny Coffer (RagNBone Man, Beyonce), Jonas Jeberg (Dizzee Rascal, Kylie Minogue), Stephen Harris (Miles Kane, Kaiser Chiefs) as well as long-time collaborator Johnny McDaid (What About Us by Pink). Kodaline appear to be most comfortable when they return to their roots, that is, when the production is relaxed, the tempo is slower and the emotions run high. The gorgeously simple melody that unfolds from the mostly a capella I Wouldn’t Be sounds like it came straight from the lips of an Irish mother singing to her child.
