Demon is a UK 80s New Wave label that was founded by Elvis Costello, Andrew Lauder, and the company behind the label in 1980. In 1998, the label was acquired by Music Collection International and merged with its Westside Records operation. Today, Demon forms part of the Demon Music Group Ltd.

Laura Lee is a talented bassist and songwriter hailing from Houston, Texas. She is best known as a member of the psychedelic funk group Khruangbin, where her bass skills shine brightly. Prior to joining Khruangbin, Laura toured as a bassist with Yppah, showcasing her musical versatility.

With influences ranging from Bettye Swann to Fontella Bass, Laura's unique style adds depth and groove to Khruangbin's music. Her melodic basslines create a captivating foundation for the band's mesmerizing sound.

As part of Khruangbin, Laura has gained recognition for her exceptional musicianship and songwriting abilities. With their dreamy melodies and infectious rhythms, the band has garnered a dedicated following worldwide. After five R&amp;B hits on Chess Records, Laura Lee signed to Hot Wax records in 1971 to work with the ex Motown producers (Holland – Dozier- Holland) newly created label. Two Side Of is Lee’s 1972 classic featuring the stand out tracks Rip Off, which became her biggest R&amp;B hit at #3 and Crumbs On The Table. Lee recorded this album while in a relationship with singer Al Green. The Chicago born singer gives a husky voiced performance on a record that was mainly produced by William Weatherspoon, formally of Motown. This classic is reissued on 180 Gram heavyweight black vinyl with original artwork and printed inner sleeve.
