Levellers is an English folk rock band that was formed in 1988 in Brighton. The band consists of Mark Chadwick on vocals and guitar, Charlie Heather on drums, Jon Sevink on violin, Jeremy Cunningham on bass and bazouki, Simon Friend on guitar, vocals, mandolin, and harmonica since 1991, Matt Savage on keyboards and backing vocals since 2004. They were originally joined by Alan Miles who contributed as a vocalist and played the guitar, mandolin, and harmonica from 1988 to 1991. 

Their unique blend of folk music with rock elements has made them stand out in the music industry. Levellers have been influential figures in the folk rock genre for over three decades now. With their powerful lyrics and energetic performances, they have captivated audiences worldwide.

On The Fiddle was set up by Brighton band, Levellers in the early 1990s to distribute music to their growing legion of fans. After Warner Music bought China Records in 2000, the final album of the deal, Hello Pig was not to the liking of their new label and the two parted company. The band resurrected On The Fiddle Recordings, releasing 'Green Blade Rising' and 'Truth & Lies'. They achieved chart success with albums like 'Letters From The Underground', 'Static On The Airwaves', and 'Greatest Hits'. Their latest album, 'Peace', entered the UK album chart at number 8 - their highest placing since 1997s 'Mouth To Mouth'. During the Coronavirus pandemic, they recorded and released The Lockdown Sessions from their own Metway Studio.

At last! Chaos Theory is available for the first time as a limited edition 3LP set. Chaos Theory was the first release on the Levellers' own On The Fiddle Recordings. Recorded at Reading's Hexagon Theatre the DVD was released in 2006 and due to overwhelming demand, It and was also issued as a fanclub only CD. This album has been requested by so many, for so long as an LP, And now, finally, pressed on heavyweight 180g vinyl. The 3LP set features the band’s biggest hits and live favourites.
