Little Feat is a rock band that was formed in 1969 by Lowell George and Roy Estrada. After leaving or being fired from The Mothers of Invention, they went on to create their own unique style of rock music by blending jazz, funk, and country influences. With their innovative sound, Little Feat has made a significant impact on the music industry.

Rhino Records, also known as Rhino, is a renowned music label that was established in 1973 by Richard Foos. Starting as a record store in Westwood California, Rhino quickly gained recognition with its first successful release "Go To Rhino Records" by Wild Man Fischer in 1975. The label's early logo featured "Rocky the Rhino" and focused on novelty, surf, local new wave bands, and reissues of out-of-print records from other labels.

Under the guidance of Bill Inglot for production, Ken Perry for mastering, and A&R team Gary Stewart and James Austin, Rhino expanded its catalog to include a wide range of reissues by the mid-1980s. The label underwent a logo redesign during this time period to simply "Rhino". In 1984, Rhino released its first CD and became known for manufacturing high-quality CDs made by Sanyo (1984-85) and various manufacturers from Japan or Switzerland thereafter.

In 1985, Rhino entered into a distribution deal with Capitol Records which lasted until 1992. This partnership allowed access to Capitol's back catalog and led to the release of reissues of old Capitol albums. Additionally, EMI and Rhino acquired the Roulette family of labels in 1989. As their deal with Capitol came to an end in 1992, Time-Warner offered an opportunity for growth. Half of the label was sold to Time-Warner

Little Feat's classic 4th album released in 1974 and produced by frontman Lowell George was a near perfect distillation of the bands influences from blues, country, funk brewed into an irresistible mix. Featuring enduring Feat gems such as Bill Payne's 'Oh Atlanta', Paul Barrere's 'Skin it Back' along with Lowell's inspired 'Spanish Moon' and 'Rock and Roll Doctor'.

This new offering includes the original studio album cut from the analog tapes for the double LP and a newly remastered version plus a previously unreleased live show recording on the 3CD offering.

Both configurations feature a rarities disc of previously unreleased studio outtakes that were once thought to be lost when the recording studio located on a boat in Maryland sank in the late 70's. While it is true that some did sink, this is what remains from those sessions.

The previously unreleased live show that appears on the CD is from the Warner Bros. Music Show tour of Europe in January/February 1975. This is the tour where Little Feat's star truly rose in Europe and where LF would routinely blow their tour mates off the stage—including The Doobie Brothers, Tower of Power and Montrose.&nbsp;
