Daniel Dumile, also known as MF DOOM, was a hip hop recording artist known for his unique lyrics and "super villain" stage persona. Born in London, England to a Trinidadian mother and Zimbabwean father, Dumile's family moved to Long Island, New York when he was young. Despite living in the United States, he remained a British citizen throughout his life.Throughout his career, Dumile adopted various stage names but became most recognized as MF DOOM. His music showcased his distinctive style and storytelling abilities, earning him a dedicated fan base and critical acclaim.With his captivating performances and innovative approach to hip hop, MF DOOM left an indelible mark on the genre. Although he passed away on October 31st, 2020 at the age of 49, his legacy continues to inspire aspiring artists and fans worldwide.

Rhymesayers Entertainment is an underground hip-hop label based in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Founded by Sean "Slug" Daley of Atmosphere and Brent "Siddiq" Sayers, the label has been a driving force in the hip-hop scene since its inception. In 1998 Zev Love X of the seminal rap group KMD re-emerged as a masked super villain known as MF Doom. 

The following Year he release the ground breaking independent classic Operation: Doomsday.

Doom only added to the mystery by creating multiple aliases (King Geedorah, Viktor Vaughn, etc.) and taking a no holds barred approach to his musical career. 

With collaborative side projects with Madlib (Madvillain) and most recently Dangerdoom with Danger Mouse, MM..Food was the super villain's long awaited follow up to Operation: Doomsday.
