Connecticut, US band Mourn The Light are eager to keep the momentum going hard into 2023, offering up four songs (over 25 minutes of new music) true to their signature doom metal sound while also paying homage to the classic heavy metal legends of the past. The new EP was recorded in early 2022 at Sonic Titan Studio by Brian Westbrook (Lich King), and mixed and mastered by Jack Kosto (Seven Spires, Threads Of Fate). Four epic and doomy heavy metal songs with elements of progressive and power metal and lots of layers, complex overlapping guitar / keyboard work and ‘true’ metal singalong lyrics.
