Passive Clouds is an ongoing musical project into the world of lo-fi electronica soundscapes. Inspired by the likes of Devo (particularly the Hardcore Volumes), Patrick Cowley, Harald Grosskopf, and SciFi and Horror soundtracks of the 70s. Passive Clouds is an evolving and open collaborative project founded by Alex Lawton.
"Started in Lockdown Two, I finally took the plunge and got hold of some keyboards. I was thinking how come I listen to so much electronic music yet don't make any. I wanted to capture the honesty of just layering sounds using a 4 track," says Lawton.
