Sir James Paul McCartney CH MBE is a British singer, composer/songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist most famous for being a member of The Beatles. He is also a published poet, painter, philanthropist, animal rights activist, and multi-media executive/producer. McCartney has been recognised as the most successful and popular composer/songwriter/entertainer in the history of popular music.

After the Beatles disbanded, he debuted as a solo artist with the 1970 album "McCartney" and formed the band Wings with his first wife, Linda, and Denny Laine. He resumed his solo career after Wings broke up in April 1981.

McCartney received appointment as Member of the Order of the British Empire in 1965 and was knighted for services to music in 1997. He was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame both as a member of The Beatles (1988) and as a solo artist (1999). In addition to his musical achievements, McCartney has had personal successes including marriage to Linda McCartney until her passing; fathering children Mary McCartney, Stella McCartney, James McCartney; marrying Heather Mills with whom they had daughter Beatrice Milly before separating; finally marrying Nancy Shevell.

This edition is pressed onto Double 180 Gram vinyl and comes housed in a retro style ‘tip on’ gatefold with a 16-page booklet plus a 320kbps MP3 download redemption card.

2LP+ - Red Rose Speedway – Double Album is the originally conceived version of the album, though it was ultimately stripped back to a single vinyl. For this limited release it has been reconstructed based on original acetates and master tapes from the period. It is now available for the first time on LP. This edition is pressed onto Double 180 Gram Vinyl and comes housed in a single outer sleeve with a 12-page 10” booklet plus a 320kbps MP3 download redemption card.

The Red Rose Speedway limited deluxe edition features three discs of audio including the original album remastered at Abbey Road Studios, no less than 35 bonus audio tracks, including a reconstruction of the originally conceived double album version of Red Rose Speedway, singles, B-sides, alternate mixes and previously unreleased tracks. The 2DVD and Blu-ray portions of the deluxe are packed with rare and previously unseen footage, including the James Paul McCartney TV Special, interviews and music videos, as well as the never before seen film The Bruce McMouse Show - fully restored and remixed in stereo and 5.1 surround sound. The package includes a folio containing 14 replica hand drawn original character sketches by Paul and facsimile dialogue sheets for the film, a 128-page book containing many previously unpublished images by Linda McCartney, expanded album and single artwork from the archives and story behind the album — including new interviews with Paul McCartney, and key album personnel — and track-by-track information, written by Amanda Petrusich, five replica handwritten lyric sheets and photo print, a 64-page ‘Wings In Morocco’ photo book, all housed in a numbered outer slipcase.
