Poly-Math is an instrumental progressive/math rock band from Brighton, UK. Formed in late 2012 as a trio of Timothy Walters (guitars), Chris Woollison (drums) and Joseph Branton (bass) under the name Polymath.

In 2014, they changed their name to Poly-Math. In May 2018, Josh Gesner joined the band on keyboards, followed by Chris Olsen joining as a saxophonist in November 2019.

The current lineup consists of Timothy Laulik-Walters on guitars, Joseph Branton on bass, Chris Woollison on drums, Joshua Gesner on keyboards and synthesizers, and Chris Olsen on saxophones.

Zenith is the 4th record by instrumental prog band, Poly-Math. 8 tracks of punchy riffs, guitar/sax battling melodies and tight, complex rhythms that capture the band’s massive live energy. Recorded at The Ranch Production House in Nursling with producer Mark Roberts (Delta Sleep, Toska, Black Peaks, The Physics House Band), Zenith represents a clear development for the band. The first to be written and recorded as a 5 piece with the addition of Chris Olsen on saxophone, Zenith is concise and consistent, focussing on complex instrumentation, huge, crowd pleasing riffs and diverse poly-rhythms. This record moves away from the band's previous experimentation with expansive soundscapes and field recordings, and instead features concentrated, succinct songs, all around 4 minutes long, focussed on the signature Poly-Math playing style and riffery.&nbsp;&nbsp;
