One Little Independent Records, or OLI Records, is an independent music label that was founded in 1986 by members of anarchist punk band Crass. Inspired by the DIY principles and anarchistic ideals of independent labels, OLI has always believed in giving complete control to artists who deserve a shot at a wider audience. On June 10th, 2020, OLI underwent a rename and rebranding after its founder announced an apology for the label's historic name and logo, recognizing their contribution to racism.

Poppy Ackroyd is a composer and performer from London, currently based in Edinburgh. Born in 1982, she is classically-trained on piano and violin. Ackroyd's unique musical style involves manipulating and multi-tracking sounds from these two instruments to create captivating compositions.

Advocated by giants of the genre, Hauschka and Nils Frahm, the unique musician has returned, freshly signed to Bjork’s label One Little Indian Records, with a mini-album. The songs serve to reintroduce listeners to Ackroyd’s most stunning pieces from her previous albums, all of which have been reworked into ‘acoustic’ solo piano arrangements alongside four brand new unheard pieces, which offer a taste of a new forthcoming record.
