Description
Firmly established as one of the crossover superstars of British music, Professor Green is back and for the first time is releasing music independently without major label backing. Intent on doing things his own way, POP SHXT gives fans a glimpse into Green’s next chapter of his career as he returns to his roots whilst still showcasing his talent for writing pop bangers.
Professor Green, born Stephen Paul Manderson, who hails from Hackney, rose to fame in 2007 after being noticed by Mike Skinner (The Streets). Green has released three studio albums to date with a combined 3.5 million sales in the UK alone – Alive Till I’m Dead (#2 UK album charts), At Your Inconvenience (#3 UK album charts) and Growing Up In Public (#12 UK album charts).
In addition to his acclaimed music career, Green has been outspoken on mental health issues and is a patron of the suicide prevention charity CALM. Subsequently Green has gone on to present documentaries for the BBC surrounding mental health, as well as other socio- economic issues.
