Originally released in October 1997, Life Thru A Lens was Robbie’s debut solo album. It entered the chart at No. 11 but had to wait almost six months before it reached No. 1, eventually spending 147 weeks on the Top 100 and being certified 8 x Platinum by the BPI for UK sales in excess of 2 million copies. It includes the hit singles ‘Old Before I Die’ (No. 2), ‘Lazy Days’ (No. 8), ‘South Of The Border’ (No. 14), ‘Let Me Entertain You’ (No. 3) and ‘Angels’ (No. 4), the latter his biggest selling single to date, and voted the best song of the last twenty-five years at the 2005 BRIT Awards.

4CD - New expanded Deluxe Edition on 4CD. It brings together the original chart topping album with bonus tracks and B-Sides from the five singles lifted from it, along with tracks associated with Robbie’s (non-album) debut single ‘Freedom’ (UK No. 2, August 1996). The third disc contains previously unreleased demo recordings, alongside rehearsal recordings and rare remixes. Disc 4 contains a first release on audio format for the complete concert recorded at the Forum in north London on 3 June 1998, released that November as ‘Live In Your Living Room’ on VHS tape and VCD but never reissued.
