Royal Blood is a British rock duo band formed in Brighton in 2012. Their sound is rooted in modern garage rock and blues rock.

The band, composed of bassist/singer Mike Kerr and drummer Ben Thatcher, was formed in Worthing in 2013. They gained attention when Arctic Monkeys drummer Matt Helders was seen supporting them at Glastonbury Festival before the release of their first single. In November 2013, Royal Blood released their debut single "Out of the Black". They went on to support Arctic Monkeys for two shows and were nominated for BBC Sound of 2014.

Following the success of their first single, Royal Blood released "Little Monster" and a four-track EP featuring their previous songs. Their self-titled debut album was released in August 2014. The band performed at various festivals including South by Southwest, Liverpool Sound City, Download Festival, and Glastonbury Festival. They continue to captivate audiences with their energetic performances.

Warner Bros. Records, founded in 1958 by Jack Warner, started as a soundtrack factory for Warner Bros. movie studios. Over the years, it has evolved into a renowned label with subsidiary labels like Reprise Records, Sire Records, Maverick Records, Warner Nashville, Warner Jazz, Warner Western, and Word Label Group. With more than 60 years of experience in the industry and an impressive roster of artists across various genres, Warner Bros. has become a leading name in the music world.

The label has used several pressing facilities including *Capitol Records* and *Columbia Pressings*. Throughout its history, Warner Bros. has had different label designs for mono LPs and stereo LPs. From grey labels with black WB Shield to gold labels with Vitaphonic Long Play or Stereo wording at the bottom; from green labels featuring the W7 logo to palm trees labels without any address mentioned; and finally transitioning to tan labels with narrow horizontal lines before settling on white labels with large WB shield and ghosted gray shields floating in the background since 1983.

To determine first pressings of US LPs on this label, collectors can look out for specific details such as color variations on the label design or Saul Bass W logo on sleeves introduced after 1975. The presence or absence of certain addresses on palm trees labels also helps identify different pressings over time.

Long before Royal Blood were even formed, they spent years together in various bands playing to half empty bars around Brighton - and only then did they suddenly become a decade-in-the-making overnight success story. One day they were plotting how to recoup the meagre £300 they had spent on their first recording, but within a year they were at the top of UK album charts, storming Glastonbury and winning the BRIT Award for Best British Group.
