<p>Sam Cooke was an American gospel/R&B/soul/pop singer, songwriter and entrepreneur. He is recognized as one of the founders of soul music and one of the most important singers in soul music history. Born on January 22, 1931 in Clarksdale, Mississippi, USA, he tragically passed away on December 11, 1964 in Los Angeles, California, USA. Although details about his death are still disputed, official police records state that he was killed by a gunshot. Sam Cooke was also inducted into the Rock And Roll Hall of Fame in 1986 (Performer) and the Songwriters Hall of Fame in 1987.</p>

Produced by Hugo and Luigi, this was the second 'Greatest Hits' album from American singer / songwriter / legend Sam Cooke. Originally released by RCA Victor in 1962 and covers all the hits from 1957-1962. A 12 track LP on 180 Gram black vinyl with Download.
