Slothrust is an American alternative rock band hailing from Boston, MA. Known for their unique sound and captivating performances, they have gained a dedicated following in the music industry.
In 2018, the band made a significant move to Los Angeles to focus on recording their highly anticipated album, The Pact. This LP was released later that year, showcasing Slothrust's musical evolution and artistic growth.
Recently, there have been some changes within the band. In August 2021, it was announced that Kyle Bann had departed from the group. However, Slothrust wasted no time in finding a replacement and introduced Brooks Allison as their new touring bassist in support of their latest album, Parallel Timeline.

Slothrust is Leah Wellbaum (guitar, vocals), Kyle Bann (bass), and Will Gorin (drums). Above all the overriding ethos of Everyone Else is its sense of inclusiveness: all people, every feeling, quiet, loud, any time signature. Repress of their third album, and originally released in 2016, Slothrust delivered ten new songs that rewarded repeated listens with complex arrangements and lyrical depth. From the slow burn of the centerpiece track “Horseshoe Crab” to the bizzarro world lullaby “Like a Child Hiding Behind Your Tombstone” and the ripping, hyper-adrenalized “Rotten Pumpkin,” the midpoint between grunge and art rock is the aesthetic that Slothrust elevates.
