The collaborative project between Ross Tones, AKA Throwing Snow, and Augustus Ghost debuted two years ago on Black Acre with the 'Lost At Sea' EP, which paired the latter's vocals with Tones' knack for dramatic bass music production. The first Snow Ghosts full-length comes through fabric's label Houndstooth. The music itself is brooding and at times imposing, yet sweepingly majestic throughout - Augustus Ghost's rich vocals balance perfectly on Throwing Snow's sombre sonic creations, as hints of industry and mechanism are married with the organic, natural world.
