The Creation is a UK freakbeat and garage rock group that was formed in 1966. Although they disbanded in 1968, they re-formed in the mid-'80s to continue their musical journey. Known for their unique sound and energetic performances, The Creation has left an indelible mark on the music industry.

With influences from bands like *The Attack*, *Fleur De Lys*, and *The Action*, The Creation created a distinct style that captivated audiences. Their music can be described as a fusion of psychedelic rock, R&B, and pop, making them pioneers of the genre.

The Creation were always a bigger draw in Europe than in the UK and especially in Germany, where these four tracks were recorded for television broadcast. Two tracks, Makin' Time and That's How Strong My Love Is come from 1966 and feature the original lineup with Kenny Pickett on vocals. If I Stay Too Long and Try and Stop Me are sung by bassist Bob Garner, who switched to vocals in 1967.
