The Durutti Column is an iconic English music project founded in 1978 by Anthony H. Wilson and Alan Erasmus in Manchester, England. However, it quickly evolved into a solo endeavor led by Vini Reilly. The project was signed to Tony Wilson's renowned label Factory from 1978 to 1992.
With their unique blend of post-punk, new wave, and experimental sounds, The Durutti Column has left an indelible mark on the music scene. Led by the talented Vini Reilly, the project has consistently pushed boundaries and defied genre conventions throughout its extensive career.
