The Exploited is a UK 82 / UK Hardcore band that was formed in 1979 in Edinburgh, Scotland. Known for their aggressive and politically charged music, the band has had several line-up changes over the years.

The current line-up includes Wattie on vocals, Willie on drums (1982-1989, 1991-), Irish Rob on bass (2003-), and Matt Justice on guitar (2008-2011,2012-).

Throughout their history, The Exploited has seen various former members come and go. Notable former members include Hayboy (Steve) and "Big" John Duncan on guitars, Mark Patrizio and Gary MacCormack on bass, Jim "Jimbo" Park and Glen "Dru Stix" Campbell on drums, as well as Terry Buchan who was one of the original vocalists.

The Exploited's second album, from 1982, was a landmark of UK hardcore punk that influenced an entire generation of British punk groups deep in the grips of Thatcherism. The Scottish group combines a mix of Oi!, hardcore, and street punk, with anarchist themes and anti-Reagan / Thatcher sentiments throughout. Still going strong to this day, The Exploited are true heroes of UK punk rock and 'Troops Of Tomorrow' is one of the strongest efforts of their career. Another essential piece of UK punk reissued by Radiation.
