Cherry Red is a British label that was founded by Iain McNay in 1978. Also known as Cherry Red Records, this label has become associated with the company Music and Media Group. With the label code LC 6730, Cherry Red has made a name for itself in the music industry. It is important to note that this label should not be confused with the US label of the same name.

The House of Love is an English indie pop/alternative rock band that was founded in 1986 in London. The initial line-up included principle songwriter Guy Chadwick, Terry Bickers, Andrea Heukamp, Chris Groothuizen, and Pete Evans. After some changes in the band's members over the years, they disbanded in the early 1990s but reformed in 2005 with a new line-up. They have since recorded two studio albums and continue to tour sporadically. In 2021, Guy Chadwick disbanded the 2005 line-up and recruited three new members to tour the US and record a new album which was released in 2022.

Features the hit singles ‘Shine On’, ‘The Beatles and the Stones’, ‘Never’, ‘The Girl with the Loneliest Eyes’, ‘Crush Me’ and more. Produced in conjunction with Guy Chambers. Sleevenotes include new interview material with Guy Chambers and unseen imagery from the house of Love archive courtesy of Suzie Gibbons.

Following their critically acclaimed Creation Records’ debut, The House Of Love signed to Fontana and embarked on four years of non-stop recording and touring that would take them into the mainstream. Produced in association with founder, frontman and principle songwriter Guy Chambers, Burn Down The World takes an in-depth look at that period in the band’s career, both in the studio and onstage.
