BMG Rights Management, formerly known as Bertelsmann Music Group, is a global music conglomerate with a rich history in the industry. Originally formed in 1985 as a joint venture between Bertelsmann AG and RCA, BMG has since evolved into a powerhouse of music production and distribution.

In 1986, Bertelsmann acquired full ownership of RCA and Arista Records through the purchase of their joint venture's stock from General Electric. The following year, these labels were merged under the umbrella of Bertelsmann Music Group (BMG), solidifying its position as a major player in the music world.

In 2004, BMG joined forces with Sony Music to create Sony BMG Music Entertainment. However, in 2008, Bertelsmann sold its stake in the company, leading to the formation of BMG Rights Management. Today, BMG continues to thrive as a leading record label and distributor worldwide.

The Kinks are an English rock band formed in Muswell Hill, North London, in 1963. The band was founded by brothers Ray and Dave Davies, along with Pete Quaife and Mick Avory. Throughout their career, The Kinks have explored various styles of rock music. In 2018, Ray Davies announced that the band had reformed for a new studio album and potential live performances. The Kinks were inducted into the Rock And Roll Hall of Fame in 1990.

The Kinks’, Everybody’s In Show-Biz – Everybody’s A Star 1971 classic album has been remastered from the original audio source for the album’s 50th Anniversary.

Everybody's in Show-Biz is a double album with one record devoted to stories from the road and another devoted to songs from the road. The album includes Ray Davies’ trademark wit, especially in the woozy beginning of "Unreal Reality" or the tongue-in-cheek "Look a Little on the Sunnyside" and the upbeat classic ‘Supersonic Rocket Ship’. Aside from the wit, there's a sense of melancholy running throughout the record, most notably on the album's hit track "Celluloid Heroes." All audio has been produced by Ray Davies and remastered by Kinks experts Kevin Gray at Cohearant.
