Description

Stephin Merritt is a genius. This man must be the devil himself as he is living proof that the devil has all the best tunes. Get Lost is one of their best albums and was originally released in 1995. Merritts voice is mournful and sombre in all the right places although he is capable of sounding urgent with expectation and hope on songs like Famous. The standout has to be The Desperate Things You Make Me Do with it's chorus of "i dedicate this song to you / for all the desparate things you make me do / i'd like to beat you black and blue / for all the agony you have put me through." on merge.
