Kscope is a London-based label specializing in the progressive genre of current music. Launched in 2008, it is a division of Snapper Music, one of the industry's most respected and influential independent labels.

The Pineapple Thief is the musical vision of Bruce Soord, formerly with Vulgar Unicorn. He started TPT as an outlet for his music back in 1999.
In the spring of 2002, after the third album, Variations on a Dream, which was probably the album that gave TPT the boost they needed, reaching out to yet more people all over the world, Bruce decided to form a band to take his music to the fans. The band consisted of his close musical friends - former university band mate Jon Sykes on bass, Wayne Higgins on guitars, Matt O'Leary on keyboards and Keith Harrison on drums. Matt has since left but Steve Kitch (who co-produced and mixed the fourth album 10 Stories Down) has since joined to play keyboards. Wayne Higgins left the band in March 2008, but the group continues as a four-piece live act.
The first six albums were released on Cyclops records. In late 2007, the band were signed to Kscope Records who would later re-release their older albums.

The Pineapple Thief re-issue a newly remastered, mid-price CD edition of their critically acclaimed 2012 studio album 'All the Wars'. This album saw frontman Bruce Soord mature as a songwriter and grow in confidence, allowing him the use of a 22-piece string section and a choir. Soord explains, "no expense has been spared regarding the production of this record but at its heart it's still a rock record. It's very heavy in parts and very delicate and beautiful in others." Following Storm Thorgerson's cover for 'Someone Here Is Missing', the artwork for this album features images created by the award-winning photographer Mark Mawson as part of his Aqueous series, which was projected onto Buckingham Palace as the background to Paul McCartney's performance of 'Magical Mystery Tour' during the diamond jubilee celebrations. This mid-price CD edition of 'All the Wars' has been newly remastered by Steve Kitch at Audiomaster and is presented in a digipack packaging with an 8-page booklet.
