Secretly Canadian is a US label based in Bloomington, Indiana. It was founded in 1996 by four individuals who are passionate about music. Originally known as Secretly Canadian Records, the label has established itself as a prominent player in the industry. In 2007, Secretly Canadian collaborated with another label to form a new entity called Jagjaguwar.

The label's first address was located at 1703 N. Maple St., Bloomington, until sometime in late 2000 or 2001. They then moved to their second address at 1021 S. Walnut St., Bloomington, which served as their headquarters until around 2004. Currently, Secretly Canadian can be found at their third and current address at 1499 W. 2nd St.

The War On Drugs is an American rock band from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Formed in 2005, the band consists of Adam Granduciel (vocals, guitar), David Hartley (bass guitar), Robbie Bennett (keyboards), Charlie Hall (drums), Jon Natchez (saxophone, keyboards) and Anthony LaMarca (guitar). Founded by close collaborators Adam Granduciel and Kurt Vile, The War on Drugs released their debut studio album, Wagonwheel Blues, in 2008. Vile departed shortly after its release to focus on his solo career.
With a captivating blend of rock and folk influences, The War On Drugs has gained critical acclaim for their unique sound. Led by the talented Adam Granduciel's vocals and guitar skills, the band creates music that resonates with listeners on a deep level.
