Presented here is the complete original album Mulligan Meets Monk (Riverside RLP12-247), which marked the only studio collaboration ever between jazz masters Gerry Mulligan and Thelonious Monk. All the songs recorded during the dates but not included on the original LP have also been added here as a bonus, as well as an extended version of Now's the Time recorded live at the Newport Jazz Festival in 1955 and showcasing both musicians.
