They Might Be Giants is an alternative/indie rock band that was formed in 1982 by John Linnell and John Flansburgh. With a unique sound and quirky lyrics, they quickly gained a dedicated following. Initially accompanied by a drum machine, the band later expanded to include a backing band in 1992.

The current backing band members include Dan Miller on guitar since 1998, Danny Weinkauf on bass since 1998, Marty Beller on drums since 2004, and [brass player] who joined in 2017.

From the manic violin-driven 'Music Jail, Pt. 1 and 2' to the bluesy grinding of 'Underwater Woman,' 'Glean' comprises some of They Might Be Giants' most vital work of their 30+ year career. With the album, They Might Be Giant's sound is in equal turns as rocking, surprising, effervescent, and truly original as they have ever been. The highly anticipated album is produced with long-time collaborator Pat Dillett (St. Vincent, Mary J. Blige, David Byrne, Donald Fagen, etc), and comes hot on the heels of 2013's fan-favourite 'Nanobots'.
