Lots of hard touring with bands like Enter Shikari plus an electrifying performance at this year's Glastonbury Festival has seen Tokky Horror quickly establish themselves as one of the most thrilling live acts in the UK and beyond. The band's debut EP, 'Kappacore', draws on that live spark as programmer/producer Zee Davine reveals, "It’s road tested, high energy material from the first era of Tokky Horror. We’ve wanted to meld breakbeats with visceral guitars as we usually do, but expanded our range of sampling further and pushed our weirdness at times, there’s less out-and-out riffs and more times where our love of Orbital and Aphex Twin shines through. It’s still a record for the punks, just not purists."

The XTNDED vinyl edition is now loaded with remixes from Bobby Wolfgang, VLURE and All Trades plus new track 'Leave Wiv Me' that collaborates with alt artist Zand and vocalist Remée. Tokky Horror describe their music as “Virtual Hardcore”. “Hardcore” as a play on the fusion of hardcore punk and hardcore techno used in their music, and how that term means different things to different scenes (but ultimately comes down to the same energy). “Virtual” as a reference to how the band met during the Covid 19 Pandemic in 2021 and continue to create online.
