<p>Type O Negative was an American gothic/doom metal band from Brooklyn, New York City. Formed in 1989, the band saw a change in their lineup when original drummer Sal Abruscato left in 1994 and was replaced by Johnny Kelly. Unfortunately, on April 14, 2010, the band came to an end with the passing of vocalist/bassist/songwriter Peter Steele due to sepsis caused by diverticulitis (initially reported as heart failure).</p>

Affectionately known as the “Drab Four,” Type O went platinum with 1993’s Bloody Kisses and gained a rabid and committed fan base through seven studio albums, two best-of-compilations and concert DVDs.   

<i>Life Is Killing Me,</i> the band’s 6th studio album and last for Roadrunner Records, was released in 2003. To celebrate the 20th Anniversary that album it is now released worldwide on vinyl for the first time as a stand-alone release plus a Double CD including bonus tracks.
