The Numero Group is a Chicago-based record label, dedicated to the preservation and celebration of lesser-known artists. Their exploration spans the globe and reaches deep into the recesses of music history to&nbsp;create compilations of previously released music, reissues of original albums, and creation of album reconstructions from a variety of musical genres.

The label's focus since its 2003 founding has been to research and preserve obscure recorded material and ephemera by artists and entrepreneurs who found little commercial success upon their material's initial release.

Unwound is a post-hardcore band hailing from Tumwater/Olympia, Washington, USA. Formed in July 1991, the band officially disbanded on April 1, 2002. Previously known as Giant Henry from 1988 to 1991.
Exciting news for fans came in July 2022 when Unwound announced their official reunion. The current lineup consists of Justin Trosper on guitar and vocals (1991-2002, 2022-present), keyboards and saxophone (1997-2002, 2022-present); Sara Lund on drums (1992-2002, 2022-present) and backing vocals (2000-2002); Jared Warren on bass; and Scott Seckington on guitar and keyboards.
The band has had former members who contributed significantly to their sound over the years. Vern Rumsey played bass (1991-2002) and keyboards (1997-2002) until his unfortunate passing in 2020. Brandt Sandeno was the drummer from 1991 to 1992 and also played keyboards from 2000 to 2001. David Scott Stone joined as a guitarist in 2001.

Meeting at the halfway point between Bleach and Damaged, Unwound’s 1995 self-titled album arrived years after the original trio of Vern Rumsey, Justin Trosper, and Brandt Sandeno made their Avast Studios debut. Compiling their EPs for Kill Rock Stars and Gravity Records with five more session outtakes, Unwound was released on Rumsey’s Punk In My Vitamins as the band began flirting with the mainstream.
