The Numero Group is a Chicago-based record label, dedicated to the preservation and celebration of lesser-known artists. Their exploration spans the globe and reaches deep into the recesses of music history to&nbsp;create compilations of previously released music, reissues of original albums, and creation of album reconstructions from a variety of musical genres.

The label's focus since its 2003 founding has been to research and preserve obscure recorded material and ephemera by artists and entrepreneurs who found little commercial success upon their material's initial release.

new super deluxe 4 x vinyl lp issue of legendary comp. from 1978-1981 the titan label issued only eight records, but over the years their tiny catalog has crawled to the top of power-pop want lists worldwide and appeared on scads of bootleg cassettes, building a legacy to rival la's bomp or new york's ork. their midwest am bubblegum roots are apparent in the likes of gary charlson, the secrets, arlis!, gems, millionaire at midnight, but titan was clearly influenced by the glam-punk spit being hocked from the 100 club stage. 30 yearsr since they meekly flopped out their first 7" single. kansas city's titan records finally returns to record bins everywehre in a super deluxe two disc retrospective with comprehensive (we mean really in-depth here!) 40 page booklet.
