White Zombie was formed in New York City in 1985 by Rob Zombie and Sean Yseult. The band gained popularity with their unique blend of heavy metal, industrial rock, and horror-inspired lyrics. After releasing the successful album La Sexorcisto in 1992 Rob Zombie and his band's opinion was that it all could be a bit more rough. And so it happened. Follow-up album Astro-Creep 2000 from 1995 is much heavier than its predecessor, with a more industrial metal style and a darker sound as it deals with twisted poetry about murder, the undead, blasphemy and satanic elements. La Sexorcisto is a must have for all metal and thrash fans, Astro-Creep 2000 is its number one contender!
